Hag the main thing is to be able to hit position 3 with good damage so you get the fight over with quickly. If you take him, I recommend to disable duelists advance. This is one boss fight I generally don't take Highwayman to, as I almost killed Wilbur with a riposte one time. Then you just need someone to deal big damage, as Corseth said. The Rallying Flare also clears stun, which can be useful as Wilbur can stun as well as mark. (Personally I'm not fan of going in blind, I know a lot of people prefer to learn for themselves, but I'm too damn old for that kind of stress.) I did not even know the Arbalest had that ability until I was looking up how to deal with the Swine Prince when I started playing. level 1-2 for the Apprentice bosses), once you know their tricks.įor the Swine the trick is to be able to clear the marks. The party you show may not have the damage to do either if the jester or especially the highwayman get tossed in the pot.Īll the bosses can be handled by appropriate level characters (i.e. Either one works but you pretty much need to commit to one or the other. You can go with frontline damage to burn the cauldron down and free the trapped person same turn, or you can go backline damage and burn the hag down. The biggest issue can be a bad stun from Wilbur's squeal. Ultimately, Swine Prince has only one action and no subtly, so you can also just debuff him like crazy too. Also Houndmaster is amazing for this fight because of his damage bonuses and his Guard - Guard is extra useful on this fight because you know in advance who will get hit. Apart from that, this fight favors bruisers (which your party has none) because not being able to hit the backline doesn't matter as much as it usually does (do NOT hit Wilbur, as you probably found out) - this is where a Leper can do work. Swine Prince is pretty easy to cheese with an Arbalast/Rallying Flare to remove Wilbur's marks. A Vestal AND an Occultist is a bit of an odd combo, are you trying to outheal damage? That's not doable past early game, if so. What is killing you in the fights? Also generally, avoid an 'always' party.
